Summary

An Agile Coach is responsible for guiding organizations through the implementation of Agile methodologies, enhancing team agility, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

    • Mentor Agile teams and facilitate their growth by implementing Agile/Scrum frameworks.
    • Coach teams on Agile best practices and facilitate critical Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
    • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement transformative Agile strategies across the organization.
    • Assess team maturity and provide tailored coaching to elevate performance and productivity.
    • Develop training materials and lead workshops to educate staff on Agile methodologies.
    • Facilitate cultural change to increase overall organizational agility and adaptability.
    • Advise on scaling Agile practices to suit large enterprises or distributed teams.
    • Lead the agile transformation effort across the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Proven experience in Agile coaching and transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.
  • Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and influence at all levels of the organization.
