Is StackFactor a Learning Management System (LMS)?

StackFactor has several features in common with the major LMS solutions. But StackFactor differs in many important ways, including personalized learning paths built upon assessment and preferences, skill gap identification and mining, acceleration through AI and automation, structured change management principles, and so much more. StackFactor is better thought of as a Talent Transformation platform.

StackFactor is currently using OpenAI, but we are AI-platform agnostic. We have already conducted preliminary tests with Google's Bard and have a robust integration engine. This means that we are not dependent upon a single point AI compute provider.

How do you deal with hallucinations are you testing the content?

AI “hallucinations” and other errors are a part of the technology that has to be delt with. Fortunately, technical and training datasets are less prone to these kinds of errors than organically. But also allowing the AI to de-prioritize speed ensures better results. In addition, it is one of our best practices to ensure that human professionals review all AI-generated content.

Do you fetch data behind paywalls?

Our AI compute provider does not attempt to circumvent paywalls and related restrictions. They actively work to prevent that data from being included in training sets.

Yes. StackFactor has been intentionally designed to help with this task.

For learning, what learning systems and providers can be integrated with StackFactor?

StackFactor was built to allow any learning system with a public API to be used with StackFactor. In addition, StackFactor comes with a wide range of learning content included, and the ability to generate more on the fly.

With changing technology, how often are the Role and Skill templates refreshed?

StackFactor content is maintained on a review and update cycle, which can vary. New and rapidly developing technologies can be updated several times per year or as needed. Mature technologies with stable code bases can be updated less frequently.

Are individual, project, department, function, enterprise level training linked and/or associated?

Non-standard Role and Skill descriptions and standards is a problem faced by many organizations. StackFactor is designed to standardize them across an organization.

Who owns the IP for new Skills, Roles, Talent pathays if created by StackFactor customers and partners?

AI technology is still in its very early stages and there is an open question whether AI-generated content of any kind can be considered for copyright protection or as IP. Each customer is assigned its own database. Data is not accessible between customer accounts (tenants). Content created in whole by a customer remains the property of that custom, whether in or out of StackFactor.

Does StackFactor create preemptive generic Role, Skill and Learning Plan templates or is Stackfactor a demand driven platform only?

Both. StackFactor tries to anticipate market demand and prepare templates in advance that customers want. But customers can generate or create content at any time on demand, or request that StackFactor do it for them.

Are there any scaling limits, no of users, reports, dashbaords etc?

StackFactor is designed for and deployed to dynamic cloud infrastructures with auto-scaling built in. These are large, public cloud providers hosting the world's largest enterprise-class websites and applications. We are not aware of any functional limits.

How does StackFactor best complement (integrate) with existing HR systems already in place. What handshake options are there?

StackFactor was built to integrate. There is an onboard low-code interface for creating integrations with any tool of service that has a public API. And our roadmap includes preemptively creating integrations with the largest industry providers.

Is StackFactor GDPR compliant?

Yes. StackFactor is compliant with GDPR and the data sovereignty requirements of the countries we do business in. This includes data minimization, implementing users' rights, conducting regular data protection impact assessments, and maintaining transparent data processing activities. Customer accounts can also be assigned to data center nodes to ensure local regulations are followed regarding the storage and transit of company and business data.
