Summary
The Telehealth Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating telehealth services within a healthcare organization. Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for telehealth services, troubleshooting technical and operational issues.
- Track program metrics, generate performance reports, and recommend improvement strategies.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, state/federal telehealth laws).
- Develop and deliver training for clinical staff and patients on telehealth platforms.
- Manage and monitor telehealth technology, including vendor liaison and system updates.
- Support grant writing and reporting for telehealth program funding.
- Promote telehealth services to providers, patients, and the broader community.
- Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to telehealth.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, information technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare program coordination or telehealth management.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use telehealth technology platforms (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me, Epic Telehealth).
- Understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS Telehealth rules).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Technical aptitude: troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
- Ability to deliver training and support to diverse users.
