Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to understand business requirements, assess AI readiness, and design customized deployment strategies for AI models and applications.
- Deploy, configure, and integrate AI solutions into client environments, including on-prem, cloud, or hybrid setups, ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of AI pipelines during deployment phases to meet SLAs and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with Wipro's AI engineering, data science, and client success teams to iterate on solutions based on feedback and real-world data.
- Conduct AI model validation, A/B testing, and monitoring post-deployment to ensure reliability, scalability, and ethical AI practices.
- Document deployment processes, create client-facing guides, and provide training/knowledge transfer to enable self-sufficiency.
- Identify opportunities for AI enhancements or expansions, contributing to upsell strategies and long-term client roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security standards during all deployment activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or deployment roles, with proven client-facing work in enterprise environments (e.g., Fortune 500 clients).
- Demonstrated success deploying AI solutions in production for at least 2–3 major projects, ideally in regulated industries like finance or healthcare.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams within IT services or consulting firms like Wipro.
- Willingness to travel for on-site client engagements (up to 50% as needed) and handle time-zone differences for global clients.
