The Backup Engineer is responsible for the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup and recovery systems to ensure data integrity and availability. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
Monitor backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
Perform regular tests of disaster recovery plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve backup failures and issues.

Maintain documentation related to backup configurations and recovery procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in managing backup and recovery systems.
Knowledge of backup software and tools such as Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, and EMC Avamar.
Strong understanding of storage technologies and networking concepts.
Experience with data protection laws and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
