The Azure Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing optimized Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirements. This role involves creating architectural blueprints, managing the deployment process, and ensuring that cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and highly available.
Responsibilities
Design Azure cloud architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
Create architectural diagrams, specifications, and documentation for cloud solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business needs and requirements.
Ensure that cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and highly available.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to development and operations teams.
Plan and manage the deployment and integration of applications into the Azure environment.
Monitor and optimize the performance, cost, and efficiency of cloud solutions.
Stay current with emerging Azure technologies and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and deployment, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of cloud service models, architecture patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency in designing secure and scalable cloud solutions.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Knowledge of networking, security, and database services in Azure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Azure certification(s) such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is required.
