Understanding Learning Plans

Your learning plan is where the real work of growing your skills happens. StackFactor builds it from your goals, your skill assessments, and your learning preferences, so it only includes what you actually need.

In the app, you'll find your learning under Plans. A plan is called an Individual Development Plan, and you may also see the term Training Plans.

How your plan is built

StackFactor chooses your learning activities based on:

• Your goals — for example, meeting your current role's proficiency, preparing for a new role, or growing a specific skill.
• Your skill gaps — the difference between your role's target levels and your assessment results.
• Your learning preferences — the kinds of content you like and when you have time to learn.

Find your plan

1. 1Open Development Hub and select Plans.
2. 2The Board shows your learning in three columns: To Do, In Progress, and Done. Each card is one skill at one proficiency level.
3. 3Drag cards between columns as you work, or use Search... to find one.

Work through your learning

1. 1Click a card to open it. You'll see Your Progress, the estimated time left, and the Planned Learning Activities.
2. 2Open an activity and use Previous and Next to move through the content.
3. 3Activities are marked complete automatically once you've spent the time shown on them.
4. 4When you finish, use Test Your Level to take the skill's quiz and prove your new proficiency.

Stay on track

My Dashboard shows a Learning Tasks Summary: anything overdue, what's due in the next 7 and 30 days, and a Continue Learning button that takes you straight to what's next.
