StackFactor works best when your whole team is on board. Inviting people takes a minute: enter their email addresses, pick their team, and StackFactor sends each person an invitation.
- You need permission to manage users. If you don't see User management under Account Settings, ask your StackFactor admin.
Send invitations
- 1Click the gear icon (Account Settings) at the top right.
- 2Select User management in the left navigation.
- 3Click Invite.
- 4Enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas or semicolons. To invite a lot of people at once, paste in the whole list.
- 5Choose the Team they'll join. Your default team is selected for you.
- 6Click Invite. StackFactor confirms each invitation it sends.
What your team members do next
Each person gets an email with a link to join. They enter their name and a password, click Agree and Sign Up, and sign in. A short setup wizard then asks about them, their role, and how they like to learn.
Share Onboarding to StackFactor with them so they know what to expect.
Manage invitations
- To see who hasn't joined yet, click Invited Only on the User management page.
- To send someone a fresh invitation, expand their row and choose Resend invitation email.
- Once people have joined, expand their row to change their Team or their Groups (their permissions).
- If your organization only accepts certain email domains, the Invite dialog lists the ones that are allowed.
- People who already have an account can't be invited again.
